How to Get Noticed by  College Coaches

Having a college soccer coach attend one of your local high school games is not an easy task to accomplish. They are busy managing their current team, planning practices and game logistics, and much more. Time is limited when it comes to college coaches, so you must get on their radar as much as possible. Some colleges/universities offer soccer summer camps, and this is a great way to display your skill set and your character. What better way to get your foot in the door then to work directly with the coaches and potentially some of the current players? Having exceptional stats on the soccer field, strong academics, and being involved in extracurricular activities will certainly help you during your recruiting process. Getting help from a third party service like, The Athletic Scholar, opens up many doors of opportunity to get in touch with our extensive network of coaches, help developing a plan of action, and ultimately providing you with more opportunities to play at the collegiate level.  Fill out our FREE Evaluation today to see the many opportunities you may have!

The Soccer Recruiting Process

The soccer recruiting process is different for every high school student athlete, coach, and collegiate program. The one thing that all coaches and programs are looking for though, is the top talent in the country, that will make an immediate impact on their roster. Coaches need to watch you play live, so you need to find a way to make that happen. Many soccer programs are interested in both international and domestic athletes, which makes it even more competitive to secure a spot on a top collegiate soccer team.  It is very important that you are aware of all steps of the recruiting process and know how and when to speak with college coaches.  At The Athletic Scholar, we have all the resources and tools to help you be successful and secure a sports scholarship.
